Driving directions from Baltimore–Washington International Airport: Head west on I-195. Then head north on I-95. Take the I-395 exit, heading toward downtown. Coming off of the exit, stay in the lane marked "Inner Harbor." Bear right toward the Inner Harbor onto Conway St. At the second light, turn left onto Charles St. Turn right onto Saratoga St. Continue one block to St. Paul Place and turn right. The hotel is on the corner of Saratoga St and St. Paul Place. Getting there: Shuttles are available for $5–15, while taxis cost $16–25. Town car service costs more than $36. Those traveling lightly can pay less than $5 to take light rail to the Lexington Market station. Then they walk four blocks east on Saratoga St to the hotel. All fees subject to change without notice. Getting around: Shops, restaurants, and a number of attractions are within walking distance. The hotel provides complimentary transportation to and from four area hospitals: Mercy, Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland, and Union Memorial. Upon availability, complimentary transportation is also available to other destinations within a two-mile radius. The 900-square-foot premier one-bedroom suites have separate foyers with marble-topped chests, dining tables, and TVs in the living rooms and bedrooms. The 1,100-square-foot two-bedroom suites have kitchens with full-sized refrigerators and two bathrooms, one with a tub/shower, the other with a shower stall. Tug’s Bar & Grille - Serving American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this casual restaurant seats 74 in rows of plush banquettes or wooden chairs. Framed jerseys of famous local athletes decorate the restaurant, and photos of famous former guests line the walls of the bar, which is separate from the dining room. Plaza Deli - This busy deli carries some groceries and snacks, along with sandwiches, salads, and drinks. In the back, a small dining area is decked with posters of movies made in Baltimore. The deli is open early morning to late evening.

What to expect: A two-story ceiling and framed mirrors on the walls make the Tremont Plaza's small lobby seem large. A baby-grand player piano greets guests, including corporate groups on extended stays, film crews on location, and leisure travelers. Posters of movies made in town hang in the Plaza Deli, and autographed photos of famous former guests decorate Tug’s Bar & Grille. Amenity highlights: An outdoor splash pool is open in summer, and a small fitness center has men’s and women’s saunas and two flat-screen TVs. Complimentary shuttle service within two miles of the hotel is available upon request. Insider tip: On Sunday mornings between May and late December, the Baltimore Farmers’ Market unfolds two blocks east of the hotel under the raised portion of Interstate 83. Vendors sell organic produce, seasonal flowers, homemade cheeses, pastries, smoked meats, jewelry, and made-to-order omelets.

The outdoor splash pool is open in summer, and the adjacent fitness room has two flat-screen TVs, two bikes, two treadmills, a stair machine, and saunas in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. Coin-operated laundry machines are located on the 18th floor. Just off the lobby, the Plaza Deli carries some groceries in addition to standard deli fare.
